What volume does 22g of CO2 at STP occupy?

no. of mole of CO2 = Volume of CO2/22.4 in litres
One mole of CO2 = 12 + 16X2
= 44 g
Therefore, no. of mole of CO2 in 22 g = 22/44 = 0.5 mole
Therefore,
0.5 = V/22.4
V = 22.4 X 0.5 = 11.2 litres Ans.
