*How entrance test depends on your intermediate + Matriculation marks?

According to the MCAT marks division 50% of your aggregate depends on
your entrance test score,40% on your intermediate score and 10% on your
Matriculation score. Keeping the merit conditions in mind you can't be
deficient in any of its part. To make 85%+ isn't a piece of cake at all!
I personally think that if you're almost 32-35% in your intermediate,
7-9% in your Matriculation than it's easier for you to go through the
test.. Otherwise you would have to play much harder than others!
Intermediate is an apple but entrance test is a mango. Mind you they're
much different!
But still, we have both sides of picture during the test many students with a remarkable 980+ in their intermediate fail to get admitted even after repeat while some with almost 850 or so score in intermediate make it to medicine.
If you're in first group, I suggest better keep your confidence level lower. Your intermediate marks aren't a confirmation of admission still a 50% is left to be done. When you prepare with a mind that "Oh, I have never failed in any thing man!" then you make blunders. During preparation,accept your mistakes and don't find it hard to beleive that your score in today's test isn't good. Stay with the people who have even higher marks than you so that you never feel contented by the exertion you're making.
The second and commonest group, ones with less marks in intermediate/Matriculation or both. First of all, this group of students are the least in no to be admitted in medicine, sadly due to merit conditions. But yeah, even if few but they do get admitted to medicine. People with 850 in intermediate have 1050 in entrance test and beleive me it happens every year. How is it possible? First of all, start believing that it can happen. Imagine if you were sittin infront of a locked door and you were told that this lock can be opened but with a certain method, you will try to open it anyway. But, if they tell you that it can never be opened no matter what, trust me you won't be able to try fully. Similarly take this thing out of your mind that this door can't be opened. Exert yourself fully, work as much harder as you can. My teacher used to say "Aap ki das saal ki mehnat 3 maheno k equal hai!". Get this stupid thing out of your mind that itny marks pe ni hta admission bachy. Fill up your deficiencies, work harder, prepare your syllabus atleast 3-4 times. Just know that you have to try harder than others, work longer than others and study better than others. Keep nothing in your mind, except your ambition.
